Saturday started off with a shake out run down to the Boston Public Gardens. I ran by the “Make Way For Ducklings” ducks – from a children’s book that my dad used to read to me every night. My dad can still recite every little ducky’s name!
All around the city, these marathon daffodil’s started popping up. They were a project started in 2014 after the bombing to bring hope to the city. You can read about the project more on their webpage.
After the expo, we met up with John and his sister. Her fiancé is doing a fellowship at Harvard – so we got to go visit them there. The campus was so so beautiful, and it was wonderful having our own tour guides.

Rhea and I have bonded over being dog moms. She has two very cute rescue beagles – Jack and Benny. When I first started following her, I had Jack the horse and Bennie the dog. Obviously we have excellent taste in pet names.
After all the squealing, hugging and photos – it was time to head to the Red Sox game!
After the game, we crashed for some much needed rest after an amazing day. Boston truly is a special city.
