Podcasts are definitely having a moment right now. Everyone seems to have one, or be on one, or producing one. I am all about that. They are a great entertainment for all the driving I do for work. I also love them for easy runs and long runs.
PaleOMG Uncensored – Juli has a blog, which I already really like. I don’t do crossfit, and I don’t eat paleo. However, she is so damn funny! Plus, I love to hear her fitness and diet tips. Just because I don’t subscribe to her exact lifestyle doesn’t mean I can’t benefit from some of her tips.
The Runner’s World Show – They break it up with different segments, and they always have really interesting guests. I love that it caters to both the very experienced runner, and the runner who is just beginning their addiction – I mean journey.
The Rich Roll Podcast – His podcasts are always super long, but super interesting. He has the most wonderful relaxed vibe. He lets his guests tell their stories and talk without interrupting them. He is a plant powered athlete, so I love learning more about that – although his podcasts are not centered around being plant powered.
Sarah & Vinnie Secret Show – If you live in the Bay Area and listen to Alice 97.3FM, you’ll know this one. It is the HUGELY inappropriate version of the morning radio show. It is so funny and I love the whole crew.
Anna Faris is Unqualified – So. Freaking. Funny. I have always enjoyed Anna Faris’ movies and TV shows, but now I love her even more. Her producer, Sim is also super funny and a great part of the podcast. Chris Pratt makes random entrances, and they always have great guests – Shaq, Leonard from Big Bang, Katie Couric, & so many good ones that I can’t think of right now.
I’ll Have Another with Lindsey Hein – A great conversational podcast for runners and people who like running – and I totally want Lindsey to be my friend! She is so sweet and fast and kind and cool! She doesn’t put on airs and is just so down to earth. She asks the questions I would want to ask myself, and she brings on great guests.
Running On Om – Julia Hanlon has the most soothing, kind voice. This is always a good one to listen to when I’m in maddening traffic haha! But seriously, I love the way she talks with her guests and gets them to tell their story. She brings Lauren Fleshman on often for a Q&A and those always have great nuggets of advice and info.
RunnersConnect Run to the Top Podcast – Tina Muir is the host of this one. She has an awesome variety of guests. They talk everything running related from safety, fueling, getting a coach and favorite products.
