Happy Friday friends!
If you follow me on Instagram (and if you don’t, check it out here!), you may know by now that I’m no longer racing the half marathon I had planned this weekend. My foot is still needing rest from running. More importantly, I had a good friend from college pass away, and I will be flying to Oregon for his memorial this weekend.
Here is what I’m loving lately:
The One Line a Day Book: I have never been a big diary person, but I do like remembering good moments and important events. This book is so great for that. You just write one sentence for each day, and it has five years worth of days. I love looking back and remembering one year ago, I went to a certain restaurant, or made a new friend. I will actually do it because one sentence isn’t too overwhelming for me.
Swiftwick Socks: I love my Stance Run compression socks, but for short socks – Swiftwick are my jam. I love how thin they are & they don’t wrinkle in the toes. They wash and dry really well too. I am also a fan of the price – $12.99. Most running socks are going to run you $15-16, so even a few dollars off that makes me happy.
Trouvé V-Neck Tunic Sweater: I’m no fashionista, and that is why I love this sweater. You can wear it with skinny jeans OR leggings (obviously leggings are preferable). Long fun necklaces dress it up, and the fabric is super soft. I have it in two colors now. With the weather in the San Francisco area, I will be able to wear it during winter, fall and spring.
Mom’s Gourmet Wow-a-Chihuahua seasoning: This is good on chicken, veggies, fish, steak, you name it. There is no salt in it, which I really like. I know when you are running a lot, it is fine to salt your food. However, it is also easy to go over board on that. Any seasoning is good with salt, but this is delicious and salt-free. So I can add salt to it if I want, or leave as is. When I am doing meal prep and grilling a bunch of chicken breasts or pork chops, this comes in handy.
Paint Nite!! I did this on Tuesday with my friend, Tina, and it was SO MUCH FUN! They have them all over the place, and you can usually get a coupon. I have been wanting to do one of these events for a long time, so I already high expectations – but even still the event exceeded that. The painting part was a lot easier than I thought it would be, and the whole thing was really enjoyable.
This is a favorite, because I don’t own it, but…..Now that I’ve been swimming a lot to let my foot rest – I am really liking Lululemon’s swimming stuff! It is so cute. I really like this top & bottom as a more “sporty” option for swimming laps:
Naturally I’m now I want to do a triathlon HAHA! I want a bike and multi-sport watch of course. Maybe one day 😉
What are you loving this week?
