My favorite time of week! Long run tomorrow, swim today and weekend ahead.
This time of year always wrecks havoc on my skin, and this year is no different. I recently found this mask from Lush Cosmetics and it has helped a lot. I put it on once a week. Usually when I get home from a run and am putting my things away – I will put it on and let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then wash it off in the shower. I made sure to get the self-preserving mask. Lush sells a lot of great masks, but some of them you have to keep in the fridge. If I have them in the fridge, I promptly forget about them.
When I saw this pillow at Target, I had it have it, especially because I keep my bike set up on the trainer in the living room.
These proportioned cups of guacamole have been a big favorite lately as well. I can put them in with my lunches, or top my rice and bean bowls at night with them.
Since I am not a great sleeper, I was interested in try these aromatherapy oils combined with a humidifier. I tried it last night and I slept great! It makes a quiet humming noise, and I think that might have helped just as much as the actual function of the machine itself. You can find the unit here and oils here.
Speaking of the rain, this has been my favorite cozy outfit for when I need to get dressed up on a rainy day.
Quick note on my watch – I have been getting a lot of questions via Snapchat and Instagram on it lately. It is the Garmin 735xt. I love all the different modes. It has a strength, swimming, indoor running, indoor bike, and of course outdoor run and bike.
