This is one of my favorite Friday favorites posts in a while. There is so much good stuff. Did I say the word favorite enough yet? Ok, I’m just going to jump right in, because we have a lot to talk about.
This Unicorn jewelry box. I found it in a boutique in San Francisco, but I found it online for you here. With the Boston/Unicorn connection, I had to have it. I keep my marathon necklace in it and feel really fancy when I put it on every day.
In keeping with the unicorn theme, this mug from Anthropologie is a really good one. I like how big it is! In my opinion, most coffee cups are not large enough.
I always wear a hat when I run, which I think everyone, myself included, should do because it protects you from the sun. EXCEPT – lately my skin is freaking out. I’m having really bad breakouts, all along my hairline and entire face really. It is has been so frustrating. One thing my dermatologist recommended was to give running in hats a break until we can get this figured out. So that meant my already existing search for running sun glasses kicked into overdrive. Thing is, I didn’t want ones that looked like the typical, running, wrap around glasses. I also want them to fit comfortably under a hat. And be cute. That’s most important. These fit the bill PERFECTLY. I feel like I could wear them from a run straight to brunch. Which is really what I wish my life consisted of entirely.
This beanie from Runners Love Yoga should be on your Christmas list. Ann even put a super kind and personal hand written note with it. And it shipped really fast! I was so impressed.
You already know I love Armpocket. That said, I just have to give them a shoutout. I ordered a new Armpocket for my upcoming race. I apparently shipped it to my old address (which was saved in their system from my previous orders). When it didn’t arrive on Monday, I called and we figured out I am the worst and it went to the wrong address. I explained to the woman on the phone that I needed it for a race coming up. And not only that, but I’m flying out for said race and need it mailed to my house several days ahead of time.
Normally, when YOU make the mistaken and mail something to the wrong address, the company would wait to receive the wrongly shipped item, and mail it to you at the right address, after charging you for shipping again. Totally reasonable.
However, Armpocket offered to mail me another one right away, and overnighted it. Of the $30 overnight charge, they only asked me for $15.
Last one, these pizza earrings are making me really happy and arguably should also be on your Christmas list.
I want to know what you are loving lately!
Are you racing this weekend? Long run tomorrow? Taking the day off?
