Yesterday started off with a perfect foggy sunrise fitting for Halloween.
Dawn patrol at its finest after some pre-run snuggles with the perfect dog.
I also made a big pot – or more like – wok, of the Fartlek Chili from Run Fast Eat Slow. For the those that might not know, Fartlek is a Swedish word for speed play. Quite sure the pun was intended in the name for this dish though 🙂 The recipe made so much that it would not fit in my biggest pan, so I used my wok and that worked perfectly.
Bennie The Land Shark was very happy in his costume and getting extra treats.
I felt really anxious all weekend for no reason in particular. It was nice to have a good dinner to come home to.
This week is a deload week which I am so ready for. I’ve been feeling pretty tired, so it’s time to back off the mileage a little.
