Happy Hump day! I had a good sunrise from my run the other day. Those never get old.
This video of a dad doing a voiceover on his daughter’s makeup tutorial killed me.
Spaghetti squash is one of those foods that I love to eat, but hate to make. They are always hard to cut, and can be a pain to scrape out. But I found a solution! Microwave them for a few minutes to help with cutting. And then cut into RINGS instead of long ways like a boat. They still take an hour to cook, but so much easier to get the squash strands out.
You just put them in the oven for 40-60 minutes on 400 degrees and you are good to go!
I posted the photo below on Snapchat yesterday and a bunch of people asked about my beanie, so here is the link! It is from Love Your Melon. It is an amazing company as well:
“On a mission to improve the lives of children battling cancer since October 22nd, 2012, Love Your Melon began with the simple idea of putting a hat on every child battling cancer in America.
After achieving the original goal of donating 45,000 hats— one for every child battling cancer in America — Love Your Melon set a new goal of donating one million dollars to pediatric cancer research and providing immediate support to children and their families.
Fifty percent (50%) of profit from the sale of all Love Your Melon products is donated to Love Your Melon’s nonprofit partners in the fight against pediatric cancer. Our partners work in the field of pediatric oncology, fund cancer research initiatives and provide immediate support for families of children battling cancer.”
Silly photo of me, but very worthwhile cause and a cute beanie to boot!
And lastly, I think I need to see this movie ASAP.
