Well this is happening on Thursday and not Wednesday because I’m the worst. Thursday is still sort of mid-week, right? Whatever.
I got to go lunch with one of my bestie this week when I worked from home on Monday and it made my heart happy. She is one of those people that always makes me 1000x happier for the rest of the day after we have hung out. She is also as obsessed with my favorite salad as I am. So its all kinds of goodness. This video was pretty crazy to watch. I’m a pretty slow walker in heels, let alone running. And she has absolutely no pronation or supination which is pretty amazing!
It has been raining hard here still. Bennie is OVER it. I agree, little buddy.
I’ve been doing this alarm clock routine a lot lately. I don’t know how the nighttime runners do it.
I had ball slams earlier this week, and the first one out of the gate the ball cracked right in half! I swear it was not my fault. It must have been well on its way out, because I am not that strong! After this, the ball slams were quickly changed to twists.
All my clothes hang on this wooden rack in my closet. I was doing some organizing this week and slid my hand down the hangers to push them over. This caused splinters to poke up from the wood and go right into my fingers. SO MUCH OUCH. I haven’t worn eyeliner all week because I can’t deal with ripped up fingers and an eyeliner pencil.
With the lack of eyeliner – I tried out a bold lip. I like it. The color is Unspeakable from Nars Velvet Lip glide. If you are looking for lipstick inspiration, my friend found an article with all the lipsticks that Ana wears in 50 Shakes Darker. I ordered one of them, so will report back. That said – I HIGHLY doubt there will be zero smearing if I bite my lip 1000x or you know, do something normal like body paint my boyfriend and then have him put a pure white shirt on. But you never know.
Yesterday after lunch I was still hungry. I drank water, worked for 20 minutes, and still hungry. I was right near a self serve frozen yogurt place and decided to get some. I got a little bit, it kicked the hunger and the craving for something sweet. In the past, there would have been a lot of angst if and consulting MyFitnessPal to see if getting the yogurt was ok. Then probably chewing gum and drinking Diet Coke instead of eating anything (both of which make me bloated and really hurt my stomach). Remember to pat yourself on the back for the little victories.
