Yesterday was spent entirely being lazy and eating cookies on the couch. Some days you run a marathon, and some days you only walk the dog and to eat cookies. It’s called balance.
I made my recovery nut butter cookies and they are so good. No matter they were not used to “recover” from anything except catching up on TV shows. Recipe here.
Bennie was fine with the extra snuggling.
I also made some pretty photograph worthy oatmeal.
While out on our Chipotle adventure, I snagged these two new sports bras at $25 each & they came with a “free” tank top. They are cute, comfortable, supportive and the price point is perfect. Criss cross bra here and zebra bra here.
I always feel a little more ready for Monday after a cozy Sunday. I have my first workout from my new coach tomorrow. We started working together just before Chicago, but didn’t want to change anything too drastically before the race. She is a nutritionist/registered dietitian as well as a run coach who is accomplished in her own right. I can’t wait to get up early in the dark and cold and try out my first workout – only things runners would say. Haha!!
