This was seen on my run Monday morning. It is a HUGE geyser from a burst water main. All the rain made the ground soft and it just POPPED. Pretty crazy. You know all the rain we have been getting that is supposed to be helping our California drought? Well…there it goes!
I am trying to clean out one drawer, closet, ect per week. I think it is so easy to just accumulate “stuff” the longer you live somewhere, plus, I live in a 3 bedroom house and I kind of expand into all the rooms haha! Anyway, I found my first “running watch.” I just wanted to know how long I had been running – this was before iPhones were a thing. I didn’t know about pace or distance really. I bet my coach sometimes wishes this were the only watch I still had lol!
This lovely sentiment was scribbled no the ground in front of the squat rack at my local 24 Hour Fitness. To be fair to my morning crew, I think it was there from the night before. People are so classy.
Bennie hates it when I leave in the morning and I just don’t blame him.
My mom sent this to me yesterday and it is so accurate. I will say that the opposite is true for me when she doesn’t answer my phone calls. Like what could she possibly be doing besides talking to me HA!?
Yesterday, I had an awkward 45 minutes between appointments. So I went to a coffee shop for free wifi, and updated my training log and to do lists. Helps me be so much more mentally organized!
Do you remember these candies? I used to LOVE them as a kid and felt it was the holy grail when you got all the flavors at once. I stopped myself at just the lemon one this time. I count that as win.
I got Nike Pegasus to test out for speedier runs. I will still use my Vomeros, but just wanted something a little different. I really like the blue color! I will keep you posted on what I think.
After taco Tuesday with my friends, I was a happy camper. Tacos are never wrong.
