The sunrise from my run this morning was especially beautiful.
Of course I HAD to win a medal! Marathoner problems. Will do anything for a medal (and a free banana).
First I went to My Fit Foods and got some delicious dinner. Mashed potatoes, green beans and almond crusted chicken. With a popcorn appetizer and protein cookie for dessert!
After window shopping, I couldn’t resist a long gold gold and pearl necklace.
I know this is quite common in the taper weeks, but I am feeling tired tired tired and so hungry. It is such a phenomenon to me. I got through peak week feeling pretty good. Now that I get to back off the mileage, it’s like all of the exhaustion has come down. I truly trust that it’s part of the process and treasure my runs whether I feel fast or slow and sore. It was great to take a night to wander around, eat some nourishing food and relax.
