Hey guys! A recap of the weekend & race is coming soon, but first I wanted to post on my training the week leading up to the race.
In total I ran 612 miles prepping for Chicago! Kinda crazy.
Monday morning I did 3 miles easy at 8:36 average at the track for old time’s sake.
Tuesday was a swim day – 3000 meters.
Wednesday was tempo day – 4 miles at 7:14.
Thursday rest day and a travel day to Chicago.
Friday shake out 3 miles at 8:28.
The views in Chicago on Friday morning were amazing and perfect for a shake out run! Another post coming tomorrow with the expo recap!
