Happy Monday! I’m not wildly sore today, so I’m happy about that. Walking down stairs still won’t feel great lol. Not planning on doing any running this week. NYC is a tough course and I know the break down at the cellular level is a real thing! Here’s how the week looked.
Monday 10/28: 5.03 miles easy in Chico at 9:15 average
Tuesday 10/29: 5.12 miles easy in Chico at 9:31 average
Wednesday 10/30: 2 warm up, 2 x 2 @ MP – 7:26/7:26/7:18/7:18, cool down. Total of 8.7 miles at 8:14 average.
Thursday 10/31: Rest/travel day
Friday 11/1: 4.01 miles easy at 9:09 pace in New York
Saturday 11/2: 3:13 mile shake out + strides at 9:15 average. John ran with me which one of us loved 😉
Sunday 11/3: Race day! 26.2 miles at 7:43 average. 3:22:19 finish. Although according to Garmin I ran 26.75 lol!
52.19 – 52.74 miles for the week – depending on whether you are looking at the Garmin or perfect tangents on the race course lol!
