I know I did my race recap last week in place of Friday Favorites – so sorry! I am hoping this post will make up for it 🙂
If you know me, you know I love to wear running clothes. But not just for running. All the time. It is not unusual for me to come home from a run, shower and put on clean workout clothes. Luckily, living in Marin County – you can walk into most any restaurant and find cyclists in full bike kits, refueling post ride, so a pair of running tights is not going to get you any bad looks. More like someone might ask where you got them.
Especially on the days I work from home, I wear workout clothes all day long. And on Sundays I might go straight from running to brunching. You get the point.
When JackRabbit reached out to me, I was very excited to work with them. They have an awesome selection of running shoes, clothes, nutrition, recovery tools (read: the FABULOUS R8), and pretty much anything else running related that you can think of.
They sent me a sample outfit and I knew right away we would get along.
Naturally the first thing I wanted to do in this outfit was run. The pants elongate your legs and look super cute on. They have really flattering seams in the booty area as well. There is a pocket in the back of the waistband of the pants that has a zipper. The zipper is key because I’m terrified of my car keys one day bouncing out of my pocket.
I had an Active Release Therapist appointment right after my run, so I used some dry shampoo and called it good. The tank got a lot of compliments and I was really impressed the bra part of it was supportive enough to run in.
The shoes are probably not ones I will do a lot of running in, because they don’t provide quite enough stability for my particular needs. They are probably ok for me for some easy runs. That said, they were unbelievably comfortable to wear running my errands, and I love the color so much. I will be pairing them with jeans and cute sweaters for fall.
JackRabbit is also having a sale of my favorite running shoe, the Nike Air Zoom Vomero 11. They are a great shoe for added stability and the toe box is really cushy. The shoes will cost $79.98 with code VOMERO60. It is for this selection of vomeros. I ordered another pair because I go through them pretty quickly.
Also with JackRabbit, you have a chance to win a free Nike item! Just post your photos where you are sporting your Nike gear – whether it is getting coffee, on your runs, or hanging out with your dog, tag @JackRabbitNYC and hashtag #RunYourLife.
