This week flew by! Getting back in the swing of things with work, training and my 4:00 am alarm haha!
Friday afternoon, I burned my left hand SO badly making this beautiful and delicious frittata.
Saturday – 16 miles easy effort at 8:29 average. I felt nervous about this run. It took the first 5 miles or so before my prescribed easy pace actually felt easy. I had a Gu Stroopwafel & banana/peanut butter before and a salted caramel Gu gel at mile 8.
I got this flatbread pizza and it hit the spot.
This has been a go to dinner this week: salmon with sweet potatoes and broccoli.
This week came to 37 miles. I really want to be able to run 50-60 miles a week and peak out at 70 miles. But – that may take a few more marathon cycles. My primary goal is getting to the start line healthy. PS – the teach me how to Dougie song kept popping up on my playlist this week. Now it’s stuck in my head until the end of time.
