Happy Friday!! I was thinking it was Friday on Tuesday, so that made it seem like kind of a long week LOL. We’ve had a weird heat wave here, which is just so….weird! I think it will cool off for a bit now, but for a few days it was like we had completely skipped Spring. And in the North Bay area – it generally feels like spring 98% of the year, so this was especially weird.
I posted this picture from my quality workout & my bracelets make me so happy. Here is the “I am the storm band” & here is the colorful one. It is from Artiken, a company that was started by a runner & they donate 10% of their profits to help getting clean water in Kenya.
I did what I normally do in the beginning of summer, double down on my SPF protection. I somehow still got a bad sunburn when we went to Hawaii. I really like this Mineral sunscreen, it is great for continually putting on all day. Other favorites are: Supergoop sunscreen, Supergoop lip balm, reef safe sunscreen.
I am really weird and picky and which shirts I wear with leggings when I am not wearing a sweatshirt or jacket. With the high waisted leggings trend, sometimes shirt stick to the leggings and then it makes me feel like it is clingy and unflattering. I found this shirt on Amazon through a blogger I follow and it is a great leggings t-shirt! It is long enough to cover your bum, and it doesn’t stick to the leggings. Also I bought this hat because I liked the CA bear, and then realized it is a Cal Berkeley hat. Oops. I don’t have anything against Berkeley, but I don’t have any affiliation with them in any way either. As a matter of fact, I have more of a connection to Stanford (through my grandpa), Berkeley’s rival.
John & I are going to see the new Avengers movie tonight, and I feel like I need to start planning my liquid consumption (or lack thereof) now. It is 3 hours and 58 mins long!! I did find this guide to when you can take bathroom breaks. Sometimes the internet is so great.
