Happy Friday! Is it March Madness at your house? It is at ours, but I actually enjoy the basketball games as opposed to football, which isn’t my jam. We took a basketball break last weekend and watched I, Tonya. 10/10 recommend, would watch again. SO funny. I love movies and shows where the actors break the 4th wall.
I am kind of mad that I tried this Oribe volumizing spray because it is expensive and it actually works. You know when people keep telling you something is so great, and you kind of think, “I bet its not that great.” Then you try it and realize….dammit. I have super fine hair that is very long and straight, so not a lot of volume. I spray this in, let it dry and then brush it out. It makes my hair feet fluffier and thicker. So far it is lasting pretty well – but I have been using it every day because it means I can avoid the blow dryer completely.
They have these chocolate truffle pigs at the cash register at this ONE Whole Foods I go to. I have never seen them at any other Whole Foods in the area, and I really like them. I always want one after dinner. I tried looking for them on Amazon (unavailable). Yesterday, I had an errand to run near the Whole Foods with the Truffle Pigs. So I decided to buy the container of them. I went up to the cash register (where they sell them one unit at a time), and asked if I could purchase an entire container. The cashier looked at me like I was crazy. WHAT?! They are delicious.
They had to get a manager to go unlock the cabinet where they are sold and people were now starting to ask me what I was doing, what are these chocolates I was wanting. SO embarrassing. Don’t worry though – I persevered.
In case you really need to try them for yourself and can’t find them in your local Whole Foods – you can get them here.
I got my Tracksmith BQ ’18 singlet in the mail yesterday! Very excited to add another one to the collection. I was a little bummed the bunny logo was not stitched on like last year and the design is very very simple. But still very pretty.
I also got a pair of the Lane 5 shorts to try and I’m super excited about them. They are the only spandex shorts I’ve found that don’t ride up when I am just walking around my house! They have the grippy stuff inside the leg.
My final favorite of the week was getting have dinner with two of my favorite people – Stephanie & Heather! I was traveling for work and got to see Stephanie – she said we HAD to get dessert and once I tasted these donuts, I understood why she was right.
Heather and I hadn’t met yet – just talked over Instagram! But I knew we lived really close by each other and we both love the same salad spot, so it was obviously a match made in heaven.
Both dinner dates were so much fun. A lot of laughing and a lot of running talk.
I have a “short” long run this weekend of only 17 miles! Marathon training makes you the of psychotic where you put the word “only” in front of the number 17. Pray for a break in the rain on Saturday morning please!
