Happy Friday friends! I’m looking forward to the weekend, because long run on Saturday and sleeping in on Sunday. I am not a super bowl person, and I don’t think we have any plans to watch it anywhere special. So that means I will probably continue my quest to finish Gossip Girl.
Since I am in either workout clothes or work clothes 90% of the time, this has been my favorite casual outfit lately.
If you follow me on Instagram stories, you know this hoodie has been my new favorite since I re-discovered American Eagle thanks to Lauren McBride’s blog. She’s hysterical. I also got this hoodie, which I love wearing with leggings. I think I forgot American Eagle existed when I graduated from high school. I used to beg my parents to take me there & Abercrombie. Sorry mom & dad!
I have been using Zealios products for a while now, but I just learned that they come in little single use pods! Much excitement. I hate having to them in a travel bottle or something. Plus, being able to take one to Athlete’s village in Boston & then toss it will be key.
And my last thing on this list of favorites is this sweet little crane John brought home for me from Japan. So cute!
What I Ate In A Day: Speed work day – I had a hard workout on this day. 2 miles warm up, 6 miles at 7:40 average, 2 miles cool down. I don’t always eat before I workout, but this day I decided to because I woke up a little hungry and knew this was going to be a challenging workout.
Around 9am after I had finished running & showering, I had an egg white omelette with spinach, Ezekiel bread with peanut butter, banana, bee pollen and few chocolate chips. And more coffee with Vital Proteins & 2% milk.
For lunch at noon I had a flat out wrap with deli turkey and one slice of Sargento thin sliced cheese and spinach, yogurt & more blackberries, and baby carrots.
Around 3pm I had 2 rice cakes with peanut butter and chocolate chips, but completely forgot to take e picture. I love putting Jif Whips on rice cakes because it spreads way easier.
At 6pm I had salmon, roasted green beans, and sweet potato fries which I dipped in some ketchup.
I was still hungry before I went to bed, so I at 8pm I had a honey crisp apple. It’s possible there was more peanut butter involved.
