Whole Foods hot bar to the rescue always. I finally wised up and got their sandwich/burrito bowl card for my burrito bowl obsession. I can meal prep and bring cold food with me on the road during work days, but something about a big bowl of hot food that is amazing to me.
I also grabbed a Perfect Bar & yogurt for snacks later in the week. Plus a little cute chocolate pig for dessert. So good!
Another Whole Foods or Target find that I love are these Justin’s honey peanut butter packets. They are perfect for flying to races.
I’ve been rewatching all of the seasons of Gossip Girl and I forgot how much I love it hahaha! I read all the books when I was a kid, and I remember wanting to BE Serena when I watched the show. I still want to be Blake Lively, or at least have her hair. Ironically, I identify more with Jenny than any of them nowadays. Sorry if you don’t/or haven’t ever – watched the show 🙂

I’m going to test out racing my first 5k tomorrow! I am so excited and nervous. It is such a different kind of nervous than my first marathon. The longest training run I had done before my first marathon was 20 miles, so there was that silly, tiny little voice in the back of my head saying, “what if I can’t run the last 6 miles?” With a 5k, I have run that distance so many times, but this is the first time I am going into a race telling myself that I’m going to test my limit of speed the whole time. I have been reading this book to help me get entail ready!
The best part of the weekend will be running my dad’s first half marathon alongside him. He’s done such a great job training and I can’t wait for him to feel what it’s like to cross the finish line.
