Last weekend I got to go to the 2019 San Francisco decorator showcase home with friends. Basically this home was completely redecorated – and different designers from all over the city each took a room. Most of the rooms were totally over the top and never something you’d really live in, but it was so cool to see.
The home has been boarded up for a long time, so it was really cool to get to go inside.
This entire room was a bathroom. The shower was bigger than a walk in closet, and this tub had some amazing views – you can’t really tell from this picture.
The cost of the tour goes to charity, from the website, “For the past 42 years, the San Francisco Decorator Showcase has raised over $16 million to benefit the San Francisco University High School financial aid program. This event allows hundreds of deserving Bay Area students access to a world-class college preparatory education.”
A lot of the rooms had really cool wallpaper – and we laughed that we didn’t wallpaper was so chic again!
After the showcase, we went to the San Francisco Cheese School over in Ghirardelli square for some wine & cheese.
The next day, John & I went to Russian River’s new brewery and restaurant up in Windsor, CA. It was a huge facility and a lot of fun, even though it was raining like crazy.
Can you tell I only liked one of the beers I tasted lol? The burger was great though! Afterward we drove over to Sonoma to do a tasting at Walt Wines – so I got a delicious glass of Pinot Noir 🙂
And of course there were a lot of puppy snuggles! What did you do this weekend?
