It’s feeling like Fall here now! Now, let’s just hope it feels that way in New York. The weather is showing mid 60s right now, but it also changes every 5 seconds, because East Coast. I am working on compiling a list of all the recommendations everyone has given me, and its starting to get exciting!
As far as goals for New York go, I will probably run it for fun and enjoy, rather than push for a time.
Monday 10/14: 7 miles easy at 9:11 average + strength at the gym.
Tuesday 10/15: 7 miles easy 9:47 average
Wednesday 10/16: 2 miles up, 10 x 90 seconds up hill at 5k effort with jog down recovery, 2 mile cool down. Total of 7:40 average with 900 ft of climbing total.
Thursday 10/17: 6.2 miles easy with Anna at 10 min average. Then did some strength stuff at home when I got back from running.
Friday 10/18: 6.3 miles easy with 9:44 average, and I rode in the afternoon.
Saturday 10/19: 16 mile long run – 6 easy, 6 at MP (7:40/7:28/7:34/7:32/7:32/7:34), 4 easy – average pace overall 8:40. Felt good about the run overall! And the fall colors were out!
Sunday 10/20: 45 mins Peloton.
50 miles for the week
