Happy Monday!! Between the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale & Prime Day, it is a little scary for a credit card on the internet today LOL! I do have lists of things I’ve had my eye on, and try to be discerning about what I buy & keep. But it’s hard not to get caught up! Anyway – here is how last week looked for workouts.
Monday 7/8: Legs at the gym & 6 miles easy with Anna at 8:48 avg.
Tuesday 7/9: Moved my speed workout up a day since Wednesday was an early treadmill day. 2 miles warm up, 12 x 200 on, 200 off (5:51/5:26/6:333/5:15/5:40/5:33/5:335:43/5:47/5:34/5:18/4:55/5:13), 2 miles cool down. Total of 8.01 at 8:41 avg. I’ve never done a 200 workout before that I can remember, and I really enjoyed how short the intervals were!
Wednesday 7/10: Upper body weights & 5 miles easy on the treadmill at 9:29 avg
Thursday 7/11: Hotel gym weights & 8.08 at 8:29 avg with Anne
Friday 7/12: 5 miles easy at 9:11. I skipped the weights on Friday because Thursday was a random unexpected late night – we had family members come visit who had something go wrong with a flight (we are about an hour from SFO), so it was a lot of fun to hang out with them! Totally worth skipping weights (like I need a reason LOL).
Saturday 7/13: Holy moly I slept until 9am this day!! I woke up and looked at the clock and freaked out a little lol. 14 miles with the last 4 cutting down (8:11/7:26/7:27/7:20) – overall 8:13 avg. The cutdown wasn’t perfect – I was running into some head wind, but a good run overall. We did a fun wine/beer and art walk that afternoon.
Sunday 7/14: 45 mins intervals & arms Peloton ride
