The sun is back to coming up a little later again already! It never lasts very long, but it sure is nice while it does. While I don’t love head lamp season, I do enjoy cooler temps. This time of year here, it is really foggy in the morning, and then gets too hot for my air conditioner to handle by the end of the day lol.
This week was lower mileage (for me) and easier workouts. I’m feeling impatient to start the marathon grind, but I still have 2 months after the month of August, & I know it is important not to get to the start line overcooked.
Monday – 4 miles easy at 9:09 avg after doing legs at the gym
Tuesday – 2 miles warm up, 8 x 90 seconds hard, 90 seconds easy (on rolling hills), 2 miles cool. Surges were a bit all over the place, ended up with 7 miles total at 8:54 avg
Wednesday – Upper body & core workout and 4 miles easy at 9:35
Thursday – Legs & 5.01 miles easy at 9:31
Friday – Upper body and 5.02 miles easy at 8:51 avg
Saturday – 12 miles easy on hills (682 ft of gain) at 9:04 avg
Sunday – 45 min Peloton class
About 37 miles. I didn’t do a great job taking pictures this week, so ignore my winter outfits lol.
