Hello everyone! I hope you are staying safe out there. I didn’t post my weekly workouts last week because it just felt really unimportant with everything that is going on. I think we are all looking for a little normalcy though, so I decided to go back to it.
Monday 3/9: 5.01 miles easy at 9:39 average & strength
Tuesday 3/10: 6.01 miles easy at 9:33 average
Wednesday 3/11: 6.01 miles easy at 9:21 average & strength
Thursday 3/12: 9.07 miles easy with my friend Anna at 9:24 average. I am glad we ran a little longer together this week, because she is self isolating now. She is a cancer radiation oncologist, so her patients are very high risk.
Friday 3/13: 11.17 mile long run at 9:49 average
Saturday 3/14: 5.02 miles easy at 9:07 average
Sunday 3/15: 4.26 mile hike/run
46.55 miles for the week
Monday 3/16: 6 miles easy at 9:22 average
Tuesday 3/17: 5.04 miles easy 10:03 average
Wednesday 3/18: 6.01 miles easy 9:29 average
Thursday 3/19: 5.01 miles easy at 9:16 average
Friday 3/20: 5.05 miles easy at 9:28 average

45.09 miles for the week
We are very lucky to be largely unaffected. We don’t have kids, we both work from home anyway, so we are really trying to do our part to stay home and not go out. Last week the barn where Bruce lives closed to keep the staff safe and make sure they could still take care of the horses, so I decided to send him to a trainer a couple of hours away. I was planning to do this anyway for a month because I was supposed to be traveling the entire month of April, so I just moved things up a bit. I miss him (even though its been less than a week lol), but I know he’s really well taken care of.
I am grateful running outside is still ok according to the shelter in place rules. I know if we don’t do our part to stay home, we could lose that too.
